How does it work?
Cornstarchor starch is the most common ingredient in face masks due to its excellent absorption properties and moisture retention.
Rich in beta carotene, carrots are a natural source of vitamin A, which has a number of advantages for our skin:
It is rich in antioxidants that slow the aging process of the skin – natural anti aging factor.
Helps maintain skin moisture.
Promotes regeneration of skin cells.
Effective cures acne – helps with the wound healing and pimples.
Antiseptic property – strengthens the immune system and prevents infection.
Sour cream, like all fermented milk products, contains lactic acid, which is essential for beauty and skin health.
This is because it helps skin retain moisture, naturally is peeling and stimulates the production of collagen, which forms the connective tissue that supports the skin.
Lactic acid is used in many cosmetic preparations for care.
The active ingredient in sour cream – lactic acid – is a type of alpha-hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin by encouraging the production of new, young cells and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
But, as with all alpha-hydroxy agents, it can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight, so be sure to stay away from sun after treatment.
